This month’s BIG WORLD Book Club pick is Thunder Boy Jr. written by Sherman Alexie and illustrated by Yuyi Morales. This book tells the sweet story of a young boy who is named after his dad but really wants his own unique name. Published in 2016, this is a much-needed addition to Native American children’s literature and children’s literature in general.
